I Went to Syngenta Today

Randy P. works for Syngenta and today was one of their events for United Way. He asked me several weeks ago if I could come and help him talk to people about ARFP. ARFP, Golden Retriever Rescue, and Feral Cat Assistance Program were all represented by Syngenta employees. It was a fundraising event for their United Way campaign. It was fun and Randy had done lots of work to prepare for this day. He put together an awesome slide presentation of animals adopted from all three organizations. Of course, all of his ex-fosters were in it, and it was fun to watch. There were vendors there selling different things with a portion of the proceeds going to United Way. One of the fun things was a "Duck for a Buck" raffle. You pay a buck and pick up a rubber duck to see if you win a prize. We won t-shirts, lunch and an IPOD Nano! YEAH!!! Here is our section of the table....
